1. Information we collect

• Account information, including your email address and authentication records.
• Birth-chart inputs, including date, time if known, gender, and birthplace.
• I Ching Decision Reading inputs, including the question, category, three recorded cast values, and generated interpretation.
• Generated chart data, report text, report status, and report history.
• Order and membership information, including order or subscription identifiers, plan, amount, currency, payment status, renewal status, and timestamps.
• Free Daily Almanac preferences, including email address, time zone, chosen delivery hour, signup source, language, referral, campaign parameters, and delivery events. The free Daily Almanac does not require a birth date.
• Personal Monthly BaZi Forecast preferences, including birth details, time zone, chosen delivery hour, language, paused or active status, and email delivery events.
• Contact messages and support correspondence.
• Technical and visit information, including IP address, page path, referrer, browser, device type, approximate geographic location derived from the network, errors, and security events.

2. How we use information

• Calculate BaZi charts and generate free or paid English reports.
• Calculate general traditional calendar information and schedule the free Daily Almanac for your selected local hour.
• Compare a paid member's natal chart with annual and solar-month pillars to prepare the Personal Monthly BaZi Forecast.
• Authenticate your account and let you revisit saved readings or manage email preferences.
• Create, verify, deliver, support, and refund orders or memberships.
• Send emails you requested and process unsubscribe or pause requests.
• Answer support messages, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and improve the service.
• Meet accounting, dispute, security, and legal obligations.

3. Report processing

For an AI report, chart inputs and structured BaZi data may be sent to contracted AI model providers solely to generate your requested report. For an I Ching Decision Reading, the paid question, category, and fixed cast structure are sent to the contracted AI model provider to generate the requested English interpretation. For a Personal Reading, 12-Month Forecast, or Bundle, Tengyunzi reviews the chart details, birthplace, question, and selected events submitted in your intake. Birthplace and exact birth time may be used to calculate a true-solar-time correction; if the hour is unknown or the place cannot be resolved, that limitation is retained with the order. The applicable one-time price is the amount shown before checkout. We do not intentionally include your PayPal password, full card number, or CVV in any report workflow.

4. Payments

PayPal processes payment credentials in its own secure environment. Tengyunzi receives the transaction identifiers and status information needed to verify and support an order. We do not store your PayPal password, full card number, or CVV.

5. Service providers

We use service providers for website hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, AI report generation, analytics, fraud prevention, and payment processing. They may process only the information necessary to perform those services under their own terms and privacy obligations.

6. Storage and retention

Account reports remain available so you can revisit them until you delete them or request deletion, subject to technical backups and legal retention duties. Order, membership, and transaction records may be kept as reasonably necessary for accounting, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, and compliance. Free Daily Almanac and Personal Monthly BaZi Forecast records are retained while the service is active and afterward as reasonably necessary to honor unsubscribe choices, support delivery, and meet legal obligations. IP addresses and visit or security logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for analytics, service operation, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.

7. Your choices and rights

You may stop the free Daily Almanac or pause the paid Personal Monthly BaZi Forecast at any time. Pausing the paid forecast does not cancel PayPal billing; future renewals are cancelled separately through PayPal. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete eligible personal information by using the Contact page. We may need to verify that you control the relevant email address, order, or membership before completing a request. Rights vary by jurisdiction.

8. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.

9. Children

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Paid services are limited to users who are at least 18 or the age of majority in their jurisdiction.
