Clock time can differ from local solar time. A serious paid reading should correct the birth data before interpretation.

Choose Unknown if the birth hour is missing
You can still read the year, month, and day pillars. The hour pillar simply needs a softer interpretation.

Remember that the BaZi year begins near Li Chun
People born around early February should be checked carefully because the BaZi year does not always follow January 1.

The free chart names the symbols. Meaning comes from the way those symbols interact around the Day Master.

Is this the same as the Chinese zodiac?
No. The zodiac only looks at the year animal. BaZi uses year, month, day, hour, Heavenly Stems, Earthly Branches, hidden stems, elements, and timing cycles.
What if I do not know my birth hour?
You can still read the year, month, and day pillars. The hour pillar will be less precise, so later-life and private themes should be treated carefully.
Why does the Day Master matter?
The Day Master is the reference point of the whole chart. The Ten Gods and many interpretation layers are measured by their relationship to it.
Does the free chart replace a reading?
No. It gives the symbolic structure. A reading explains how the structure works in career, relationships, money, stress, and timing.
Why do some calculators show different pillars?
Different tools may handle timezone, solar terms, Li Chun, and birth hour boundaries differently. If the chart is close to a boundary, use a human-reviewed reading.
